Danish Immigration to America- Research Guide No. 28 of the Library of Congress. This bibliography contains titles that describe Scandinavian emigrations in general, both within Scandinavia and beyond, and that situate Danish emigration within this context. The second section refers specifically to reasons for and means of Danish emigration to North America. Section three describes the Danish immigrant experience in America, and the last section lists handbooks that are helpful for the genealogist and the historian in tracing individual and communal Danish roots from America back to the home country.

Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum- With 16 historic buildings in its main complex, which occupies most of a square block in downtown Decorah, Iowa, and two National Register sites just outside the city, Vesterheim houses over 24,000 artifacts, which include large samplings from the fine, decorative, and folk arts, and the tools and machinery of early agriculture, lumbering, and other immigrant industries.
